We spent six weeks in Madagascar in 2019 and made a film with the pupils of the „Lycée Les Pigeons“ and the author Antonia Michaelis in Talata.
The „Lycée Les Pigeons“ in the highlands of Madagascar, in the village of Talata, is „a bit different“: colorful, green, individual. Few children go to school in Madagascar because school costs money. Les Pigeons also gives children from the poorest backgrounds a chance. There is a sewing and wood workshop, a small library, a playground and sometimes a cinema for the whole village in the large hall for practical learning.
